WhichGoat uses two analytics tools to count visits and see which pages and features are useful: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless by default, and Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics 4 runs in cookieless consent mode: no cookie is ever set, no advertising features are turned on, and no banner asks for consent because none is needed, the setting simply never changes. Google receives anonymous pings, such as which page loaded or which finder filter was used, and fills in the rest of its reporting with statistical modelling rather than by tracking an individual visitor. We do not sell data, and do not require an account to use the site. There are no sign-up, contact or comment forms anywhere on the site, so we never collect a name, email address or any other personal detail from a visitor.
